Is an AI custom song as good as a human-written one?

What each one is actually good at
Songlorious
Also human-performed, and well known from Shark Tank — their own page title says "As Seen on Shark Tank". We could not find a price or a delivery time anywhere on their public site on the date checked, so we are not going to guess at one; ask them directly.
Songful
The closest thing to a direct equivalent, and genuinely strong: fast, cheap, and with far more reviews than us — Songful display "4.97 out of 5" from "3600 + verified reviews" on their own site. Two honest differences: Songful's prices on the day we checked were sale prices, so compare against their normal ones; and you receive the songs after paying rather than before.
GiftSong
The most similar to us in shape: AI-made, quick, and you hear something before you pay. If you want the cheapest entry point in this list, their bottom tier is below ours. What you are choosing between is largely the finished result and who answers when something is wrong.
CustomSongGift
A studio-made song at a flat price, positioned between the AI services and the artist marketplaces. Their own page says "Only $99 with 2 Day Delivery!" and "Our studio works on your song and will email it to you in 2 days."
Doing it yourself with Suno
The honest cheapest route, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise. Suno is a music-generation tool: the writing, the style choices and the re-rolling are your work, and that is the real cost. Worth knowing that their free plan states "No commercial use", and that paid plans are a monthly subscription rather than a one-off.
Where we think we win, and where we don’t
Where we win. You hear it before any money is taken — a free preview of each of two versions, and it takes minutes rather than days. If a line is wrong you tell me and I change it for free, as many times as it takes, and the version you already liked is kept.
Where we don’t. We are not a human musician, and if that is what you want then Songfinch or Songlorious is the right answer and we would rather you went there happy than came here disappointed. Songful has far more reviews than we do — they display 4.97 out of 5 from over 3,600 — and if review volume is what you weigh most heavily, that is a fair reason to choose them. GiftSong’s cheapest tier is below ours. And if you enjoy this sort of thing, doing it yourself with Suno genuinely is cheaper; it just costs you an evening instead.
What we won’t claim. We are not going to tell you our songs are better than anyone else’s, because that is a taste judgement we cannot evidence and you can make it yourself for free in a few minutes. This page compares published facts — price, timing, who makes it, whether you hear it first — and stops there.
How to check any of this yourself
Open the source link beside each service and look for the price and the delivery time on their own page. That is exactly what we did on August 13, 2026, and it takes about five minutes for all five. Two things worth knowing while you do: promotional pricing is common in this category and at least one service on this list was mid-sale when we looked, so what you see may be a sale price rather than a normal one; and some of these sites do not publish a price publicly at all, which is why one row here says so instead of guessing.
